School Visits
Here's a picture from my most recent school visit. I was invited to read to a 4th grade class near my home in Colorado to do a book reading of my debut children's picture book, "Penny's Adventure: In Search of Tasty Treats."
I love sharing my story with young readers!
"Sandy Ecker presented her adorable story of Penny the prairie dog to my 4th grade class. Her story is fun and engaging and related directly to our study of animal adaptations and survival techniques. The students engaged in a lively discussion about all the animals and loved to hear about how Sandy came up with ideas for the book. They are excited for more adventures with Penny. Although the book seems tailored to younger students, I recommend Sandy's author visit for all elementary school grades."
